• How will I check my children in to their classrooms in the new building?

• I’ve heard that children will enter into “a whole new world” when they come to church. Can you explain more about what that means?

The entrance to the children’s area is located just off the main foyer (on the west side of the sanctuary). It won’t be difficult to find us. Everything will be well-it and easily recognizable. When you check your child in, you will receive a ticket which you will need to present when you pick up your child. You can rest easy, because from the moment you drop off your child, there will be ample adult supervision.

Birth through kindergarten will be downstairs and first through sixth grade will be on the second floor.

This building will actually be easier to keep secure, as it was designed with security in mind.  In the children's areas, there will be only one way in and one way out and so can be easily monitored.  Our check-in system will also provide accountability since a ticket will be required for all children to be picked up.

All of the equipment meets the necessary requirements for safety.

In the Early Childhood area, children will enter Hero Land.  The entrances, walls and classrooms will be professionally themed and decorated to create a town that has been designed with children ages birth - kindergarten in mind.  Hero Land will have all the places children love to go and experience with each place (classroom) containing things they love to do and can relate to.  It will be a perfect environment for children to experience and learn about God.

Kids (1^st – 4^th graders) will enter a place that has been designed to look like a city, through set pieces and staging.  Within the city will be “places” where the children can meet for a small group setting as well as a large area for Celebration Services.

Xtreme (5th & 6th graders) will be a place to hang out with friends and caring adults in an environment that is preteen appropriate.  There will be a game room as well as a cafe type setting that is attractive to this particular age group.

The playground will be designed and themed to look like a park with different areas set apart for toddlers, 3 - 5 year olds, kids and preteens.

All of these areas are highly multi-purpose to allow a variety of activities and various services to take place as well as to allow for growth.
